Hi. I put your V3 card into my oldtimer (2010] candy bar Nokia 2710. I could switch between eSims while the phone was running. Well done!
Yes, that’s just what we are working for!
Do you know the EID range for 9esim V3?
I know the docomo line in Japan requires an EID for eSIM registration.
Does 9esim V3 support EID specified registration?
You can view the EID on the card or read it through our compatible APP. EID registration is the operator’s behavior. You can submit your EID to the corresponding operator for registration.
Sorry, NTT DoCoMo’s eSIM accepts only the following EIDs and does not seem to work.
「89049032」、「89033023」、「89033024」、「89043051」、「89043052」
This is a very bad behavior that hinders the development of the industry, and a complaint should be filed with the Japan Communications Administration. Thank you very much for your feedback, and we will also submit a feedback report to GSMA.
According to the Japanese domestic forum, eSTK.me SIM cards are compatible with NTT DoCoMo’s EID (89049032), but it seems that it is impossible to install a profile on an eSIM card because it will be judged as a physical SIM.

In Japan, there have been many cases of SIM swapping, in which a cell phone is MNP’d to another person without permission and becomes unusable. In particular, NTT DoCoMo, the largest carrier in Japan, seems to have adopted the method of matching the corresponding EID to strengthen security.
Thank you very much for your information.
According to what we have learned so far, the competitor you mentioned is because they use Apple disassembled components, and Apple’s eUICC supplier is G+D, so their product EID is (89049032). We have also ordered some products from G+D, but users reported that there were some problems with their use, so we stopped using them later. The product of another competitor mentioned in your link is supplied by ECP. From the description of the article, it should be “compatible” with the Japanese operator network.
The EID number segment is defined in the GSMA specification (SGP.29) as only used to identify its EUM, and there is no better or worse compatibility. In addition, we believe that the operator’s behavior of blocking eUICC based on EID is a bad decision that does not consider user experience.
I watched a video explanation by a Chinese person about several competing products as shown on this web site, and I also understood why estk.me’s products are highly compatible with Apple products.
Unfortunately, in Japan, only estk.me’s products can be used by NTT DoCoMo due to EID restrictions, but there are many explanations recommending their products because they seem to be highly compatible with Apple products for eSIM rewriting.
Do you have any plans to sell new products with higher compatibility for Apple products in the future?
We known that guy you mentioned. Our V1 are the chip from G+D, which EID starts with 89049032. But we still don’t think this is a compatibility issue, it’s a user experience issue caused by lazy governance actions taken by these operators. Of course, what you mentioned is a current reality, which may affect Japanese users who originally liked our products. Thank you again for your feedback! We will seriously consider how to solve this problem.
Other than NTT DOCOMO’s EID regulations and compatibility issues with Apple products, is it possible to have them adopt dual active eSIM products such as DSDS, DSDV, and DSDA that are used in mobile handsets?
I do not got your idea completely. DSDS, DSDA or DSDV is the capability of device, not the SIM.
Okay, so you’re saying it’s impossible to achieve this with a product SIM and an app or other program.
Additional report, I purchased this item and it seems that the EID is 89033023 which is different from estk.me and corresponds to NTT docomo’s designated EID.
